It's this belief that guided the renovation of our historic 1898 Methodist church, transforming it into a magnificent, yet intimate concert hall designed for the subtleties of refined musical expression. With its gorgeous stained glass windows and a capacity of 80-100, Lion Performance Hall is truly a unique performance venue near Milwaukee.

Co-owners and passionate musicians, Theodore and Sacia, envisioned a space where the intimacy and sonorous blending of each instrument could be savored and shared as a communal whole. This vision is evident in every detail, from our flexible seating that adapts to any ensemble – be it trios, quartettes, or quintettes – to the world-class features that define our hall.

But Lion Performance Hall is more than just a beautiful space for live chamber music concerts. We are a premier recording studio equipped with state-of-the-art recording and broadcasting equipment and precisely designed custom acoustic treatments. This makes us the optimal place to record solo and ensemble acts, ensuring your sound is captured with pristine clarity.

A cornerstone of our hall is the magnificent Steinway Model B – a 7-foot grand piano meticulously restored by Premier Piano Gallery. This exceptional instrument is not only perfect for solo piano performances and chamber accompaniment, but also a key element in our professional recording capabilities, offering an unmatched sonic palette.

Beyond showcasing nationally recognized artists, we are deeply committed to supporting our local community. Conveniently accessible from Milwaukee, Germantown, Menomonee Falls, Sussex, West Bend, Cedarburg, and Mequon via I-41, we proudly offer our hall for music teacher concerts, student recitals, and showcases. Promoting and fostering music and arts of all genres, and allowing lecture series and "storytelling" concerts to utilize our space, further enhances the cultural vibrancy of our region.
